NETWORK UPDATE:  NCIS gained 0.1 in final numbers, but CHICAGO FIRE lost the same.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The big winner of the REPUBLICAN DEBATE last night was Fox Business Channel, which took 4 of the night’s Top 10 slots, led of course by the debate itself, which scored 2.43, 0.21 below the number for CNBC’s debate a few weeks ago, as the debates continue to be one of the highest-rated series of the fall.  BET was the night’s closest competitor, as BEING MARY JANE jumped 0.28 from last week to 0.91.  OWN’s IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG was also strong, up 0.15 to 0.76.  History scored with 0.67 for CURSE OF OAK ISLAND.  Bravo’s BELOW DECK rose 0.03 to 0.65, and PEOPLE’S COUCH shed a hundredth to 0.31.  The good news for USA was 0.60 for the season premiere of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST, but lead-out DONNY lost most of that audience with a 0.24 premiere (which was down to 0.20 by the last quarter-hour).  However, networks have been very patient with new scripted series that follow unscripted hits (an example is Bravo with GIRLFRIENDS GUIDE TO DIVORCE), so DONNY isn’t a lost cause just yet.  ESPN’s original 30 FOR 30 documentary CHASING TYSON was solid at 0.55, but there was reduced interest in the second installment of the COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF rankings show, down 0.16 from last week to 0.38.  HUNTING HITLER brought in 0.53 for History.  On Comedy Central, TOSH.0 was down a tick to 0.52, while DRUNK HISTORY was up 0.02 to 0.34.  Food Network’s CHOPPED JUNIOR lost 0.05 to 0.48, and CHOPPED was down a tenth to 0.39.  BOTCHED (E!) was steady at 0.41.  Discovery’s YUKON MEN gained 0.07 to 0.37.  MTV’s FINDING CARTER gained 0.07 to 0.30.  FX’s BASTARD EXECUTIONER dropped a tenth to 0.26.  WGNAmerica’s MANHATTAN stayed at 0.03 in the 18-49 demo, but lost more than half its total viewers at 161K, possibly hurt by the old-skewing debate.
