NETWORK FINALS:  CASTAWAYS, MAKING IT, THE OUTPOST and the reruns of BULL and THE FLASH all lost 0.1 in final numbers.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  All of the big-ticket scripted arrivals did well, and none better than the premiere of FX’s MAYANS MC, which topped Wednesday cable at an impressive 1.05, and even more notably tripled its X-MEN movie lead-in.  BET’s BOBBY BROWN STORY debuted at 1.01, with a BET HER simulcast at 0.05.  USA’s THE PURGE followed WWE SMACKDOWN’s 0.77 (up 0.02 from last week) with 0.55, plus the Syfy simulcast at 0.12. 

MTV’s THE CHALLENGE ticked up to 0.48.  On Bravo, BELOW DECK slipped 0.03 to 0.47, and MILLION DOLLAR LISTING was steady at 0.23.  ESPN’s US OPEN coverage was at 0.45.  On History, FORGED IN FIRE gained 0.04 to 0.38.  OWN’s THE HAVES AND HAVE NOTS dropped 0.06 to 0.36.  TBS’s WRECKED climbed 0.07 to 0.36.  Political news kept MSNBC’s RACHEL MADDOW SHOW on top at 0.36/0.53/3.1M, with Fox News’s TUCKER CARLSON TONIGHT at 0.33/0.57/3.1M, and CNN’s ANDERSON COOPER 360 at 0.27/0.36/1.3M.  On TLC, OUTDAUGHTERED lost 0.03 to 0.33, and RATTLED held at 0.17.  On Discovery, DEADLIEST CATCH fell 0.13 to 0.31, and HARD TO KILL stayed at 0.14.  HBO’s HARD KNOCKS shed 0.03 to 0.29.  On Lifetime, MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT ticked down to 0.27, and SEVEN YEAR SWITCH was down 0.03 to 0.10.  On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS ticked up to 0.25, DESERT FLIPPERS ticked down to 0.25, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTL was up 0.03 to 0.24.  On ID, THE DEVIL SPEAKS slipped 0.02 to 0.25, and MURDER BY NUMBERS was down 0.04 to 0.22.  Paramount’s INK MASTER was at 0.24.  Food Network’s CHOPPED rose 0.03 to 0.21.  A&E’s THE FIRST 48 gained 0.03 to 0.20.
