Reports are that NBC’s midseason sitcom based on Chelsea Handler’s bestselling book has unceremoniously dumped much of its supporting cast: out are Natalie Morales and Angel Laketa Moore, the actresses who played Laura Prepon (Chelsea)’s best friends, as well as Joy Koy, who played one of her co-workers. Reportedly this isn’t just a matter of recasting, but a reconception of the characters. The show needed retooling (my review is here), so this may only be the start of Chelsea‘s changes.
