Ratings Delays Caused by Christmas & New Year’s Holidays

The Christmas and New Year’s holidays will cause delays for daily national ratings (live+same day cable and broadcast) for several days.  This is how the ratings should roll out the next two weeks.

  • Friday Dec 21 nationals available Wednesday Dec 26 afternoon
  • Saturday Dec 22 nationals available Thursday Dec 27 morning
  • Sunday Dec 23 nationals available Thursday Dec 27 morning
  • Monday Dec 24 nationals available Thursday Dec 27 afternoon
  • Tuesday Dec 25 nationals available Friday Dec 28 morning
  • Wednesday Dec 26 nationals available Friday Dec 28 afternoon
  • Thursday Dec 27 nationals available Friday Dec 28 afternoon* (cable*) & Monday Dec 31 morning (broadcast)
  • Friday Dec 28 nationals available Monday Dec 31 afternoon*
  • Saturday Dec 29 nationals available Wednesday Jan 2 morning
  • Sunday Dec 30 nationals available Wednesday Jan 2 morning
  • Monday Dec 31 nationals available Wednesday Jan 2 afternoon
  • Tuesday Jan 1 nationals available Thursday Jan 3 morning
  • Wednesday Jan 2 nationals available Thursday Jan 3 afternoon* (cable*) & Friday Jan 4 (broadcast)

* denotes normal release time

The schedule will return to normal with the release of cable and broadcast nationals for Friday Jan 4 on Monday Jan 7 afternoon.

As usual, the “fast affiliate nationals” will continue to be released each morning at 8 am for the previous night’s preliminary prime time ratings on the broadcast networks.
