NETWORK RATINGS:  Note:  FOX’s WOMENS WORLD CUP telecast, once adjusted for time zones, began outside of primetime, running 6:41-9:11PM on the east.  The adjusted number is for the entire broadcast, not just the primetime portion reported this morning, and that puts it at 3.0.  In addition, BEAT THE CHAMPIONS, which followed the match on FOX, adjusted down 0.2 to 0.9.  Elsewhere, AMERICA’S GOT TALENT received an extra 0.1 in final numbers.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  MTV preceded the premiere of SCREAM with a special run of TEEN WOLF, which at 0.50 (1.28 in the F12-34 demo) was down 0.11 (and 0.41) from Monday’s season premiere.  SCREAM followed at 0.45 (and 1.10), a moderately successful start, but perhaps not what the network had been hoping for after months of hype.  The top of Wednesday cable was occupied by Discovery’s THE DEADLIEST CATCH, up 0.02 to 1.01, with lead-in DEADLIEST CATCH: THE BAIT also up 0.02 to 0.46.  THE HAVES AND HAVE NOTS returned to OWN at 0.93.  ABCFamily’s PRETTY LITTLE LIARS gained 0.05 to 0.80 (and by 0.18 to 2.21 in F12-34s), while STITCHERS dropped 0.06 to 0.32 (and lost 0.02 in the demo to 0.81).  On TNT, RIZZOLI & ISLES rose 0.08 to 0.71, but PROOF collapsed further, down 0.05 to 0.25.  History’s COUNTING CARS gained 0.05 to 0.56, and there was also a 0.05 rise for LEEPU & PITBULL to 0.45.  On Spike, INK MASTER lifted by 0.02 to 0.56, and TATTOO NIGHTMARES was up to 0.39, compared to 0.32/0.30 for 2 episodes last week.  Bravo’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NYC lost 0.05 to 0.54, and SECRETS & WIVES was at 0.13.  FLIP OR FLOP (HGTV) dropped 0.03 to 0.50.  At Comedy Central, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER rose 0.04 to 0.47, and ANOTHER PERIOD gained 0.06 to 0.39.  On USA, WWE TOUGH ENOUGH started the night down 0.08 to 0.32, CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST fell 0.04 to 0.46, and ROYAL PAINS was down 0.05 to 0.28.  DANCE MOMS (Lifetime) grew by 0.02 to 0.42.  THE LITTLE COUPLE (TLC) dropped 0.08 to 0.35.  TYRANT (FX) lost 0.05 to 0.29.  BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK (POP) didn’t make the Top 100 at 0.03/84K.  Similarly micro-rated was KNIFE FIGHT (Esq) at 0.03/71K and 0.01/36K.
