We are pleased to present updated cable charts, providing even more relevant data each day. The color-coded Demographic Detail chart now includes the Top 50 Original Cable Telecasts (previously Top 40), and we have added ratings for three new demographic groups that are very important to advertisers and programmers, which means you will now see both Women and Men 18-49, and both Females and Males 12-34. Also, note that the Men 50+ metric has been changed to Adults 50+.  In addition, the 18-49/Total Viewers supplemental cable chart now includes the Top 150 Original Cable Telecasts (previously Top 100), and it remains searchable by using Ctrl-F on most browsers.  (A note to some of our more hardcore encyclopedic readers:  our responses to individual requests will continue to observe the same limits we’ve had in place, meaning that absent special circumstances, we won’t be reporting on uncharted reruns, theatrical movies, regular sports/news series, or shows whose national viewership wouldn’t even fill a medium-sized concert venue.  We’d also mention that piling on the requests–someone recently asked for 8 in a single day–guarantees a delayed response, if any at all.)

NETWORK UPDATE:  As expected, adjustments for NFL simulcasts meant that CW’s shows both came down 0.1 in final numbers, although the 0.5 for JANE THE VIRGIN is still a good score for that series.  NBC’s shows took a similar hit, down 0.1 for THE VOICE and 0.2 for BLINDSPOT.  Elsewhere, CBS received 0.1 bumps for SCORPION and NCIS: LA (but not SUPERGIRL), however GOTHAM lost 0.1 for FOX.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  ESPN controlled the night with MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, up 0.08 from last week to 4.23.  VH1’s Monday duo was led by LOVE & HIP-HOP HOLLYWOOD, down 0.03 to 1.35, with BLANK INK CREW down 0.17 to 0.88.  USA’s WWE coverage was 1.18-1.09, in the same range as last week’s 1.15-1.06.  (Our new demographic detail makes the night’s gender split clear, as the NFL game and WWE had 18-49 audiences that were roughly 2/3 male, while VH1’s shows were even more predominantly female.)  Discovery’s STREET OUTLAWS gained 0.04 to 1.00, and VEGAS RAT RODS climbed 0.12 to 0.58.  On Bravo, VANDERPUMP RULES rose 0.08 to 0.61, and APRES SKI was down 0.04 to 0.22.  FX’s FARGO (up 0.01) and TNT’s MAJOR CRIMES (down 0.09) were both at 0.32, but here again the demo information provides some insight, as FARGO’s audience was evenly split between the genders, while MAJOR CRIMES was more than two-thirds female, not to mention that MAJOR CRIMES’ audience is far older, with almost triple the share of 50+ viewers.  (Note:  TNT pulled LEGENDS from the line-up on Monday because its plotline involved terrorism in Paris.)  On Food Network, CAKE WARS XMAS fell 0.12 to 0.28, and was preceded by a 0.27 PIONEER WOMAN special.  MTV aired a CATFISH special at 0.24, followed by two half-hours of FOLLOW THE RULES at 0.18/0.17, similar to last week’s 0.17/0.16.
