NETWORK FINALS:  WORLD SERIES Game 5 adjusted up half a point in final numbers to an even more terrific 6.7, and yet SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL stayed strong, also up half a point to 6.5, which was 0.5 higher than last week’s game.  The only other adjustment was a 0.1 dip for 60 MINUTES.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD, returning from last week’s bloodbath with an hour that was as light as that show ever gets, dropped a huge 2.27 from the season premiere to 6.09, still the highest-rated scripted show on TV, but with a plunge even bigger than last fall’s 1.26 Week 2 drop (although that didn’t face the World Series).  TALKING DEAD dropped 1.63 to 2.03, and COMIC BOOK MEN was down 0.07 to 0.39.  On HBO, WESTWORLD slipped 0.04 to 0.65, DIVORCE lost 0.02 to 0.16, INSECURE was also down 0.02 to 0.13, and LAST WEEK TONIGHT ticked down to 0.39. Showtime’s SHAMELESS fell 0.13 to 0.42, and MASTERS OF SEX was down 0.04 to 0.08.  On Starz, ASH VS. EVIL DEAD didn’t get a Halloween bump, holding at 0.13, and BLUNT TALK was down 0.01 to 0.03/105K.  Adult Swim’s YOUR PRETTY FACE climbed 0.08 to 0.50, DREAM CORP LLC was up 0.06 to 0.43, and SQUIDBILLIES returned at 0.42.  The season finale of FX’s THE STRAIN was down 0.01 to 0.39, which was 0.15 lower than last year’s finale.  USA’s EYEWITNESS gained 0.05 to 0.20.  

On Bravo, the REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY season finale added a tick to 0.63, and the 2-episode season finale of MANZOD WITH CHILDREN was at 0.33/0.25, compared to last week’s 0.26. On E!, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS dropped 0.16 from last week’s season premiere to 0.53, and WAGS fell 0.08 to 0.24.  TLC aired 3 hours of 90 DAY FIANCEE itself and the HAPPILY EVER AFTER after-show at 0.52/0.46/0.46, compared to last week’s 2 hours at 0.48/0.49.  On Discovery, ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER was minus a tick at 0.49, and EDGE OF ALASKA was up 0.05 to 0.40. NBC Sports Net’s NASCAR race was at 0.49.  On Food Network, the season finale of HALLOWEEN WARS was up 0.01 to 0.47, GUY’S GROCERY GAMES was down 0.01 to 0.36, and WORST BAKERS IN AMERICA was up 0.02 to 0.29.  Spike’s BAR RESCUE dropped 0.04 to 0.29.
