NETWORK REPORT:  Although broadcast/cable coverage of the NFL DRAFT is being given blame for some of Thursday’s low ratings, that wasn’t particularly true last year, and the addition of FOX to the cable coverage didn’t raise the cumulative total rating all that much.

ABC:  Supposedly international sales justified the renewal of QUANTICO, and they’d better stay healthy, because the season premiere was a comatose 0.5, half of last season’s premiere (on a Sunday) and even down 0.1 from the season finale (on a Monday).  Prior to that, GREY’S ANATOMY dropped 0.2 to 1.5, and STATION 19 was down 0.2 to 0.9.

FOX:  The network’s piece of the NFL DRAFT telecast was at 1.1 (1.13 unrounded).

CBS:  THE BIG BANG THEORY took the night’s biggest hit, down 0.4 to 2.0, with YOUNG SHELDON down 0.1 to 1.8, MOM down 0.1 to 1.3, LIFE IN PIECES steady at 1.0, and SWAT steady at 0.8.

NBC:  SUPERSTORE (0.7) and AP BIO (0.5) were each down 0.1, and after 0.4 for a WILL & GRACE rerun, CHAMPIONS held at 0.4.  CHICAGO FIRE shed 0.1 to 0.9.

CW:  SUPERNATURAL (0.5) and ARROW (0.3) were steady.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  ESPN and NFL Network also covered the NFL DRAFT, respectively at 2.11 (down 0.67 with FOX in the mix) and 0.80 (down 0.24), so the cume was 4.04, compared to last year’s 3.82.  Elsewhere in sports, TNT’s NBA PLAYOFFS game was at 0.84, and NBC Sports Net’s NHL PLAYOFFS games were at 0.48/0.30.

On MTV, JERSEY SHORE: FAMILY VACATION fell 0.11 to 0.90, and EX ON THE BEACH was down 0.09 to 0.43.  VH1’s RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE gained 0.02 to 0.41, and UNTUCKED was steady at 0.31.  On Bravo, SOUTHERN CHARM lost 0.06 to 0.40, and IMPOSTERS ticked down to 0.11.  Fox News’s HANNITY topped cable news at 0.30/0.53/3.1M, with MSNBC’s RACHEL MADDOW SHOW at 0.29/0.43/3M, and CNN’s CNN TONIGHT at 0.21/0.27/1.1M.  On History, SWAMP PEOPLE dropped 0.08 to 0.30, and TRUCK NIGHT IN AMERICA was up 0.02 to 0.29.  Tru’s IMPRACTICAL JOKERS was at 0.29, and INSIDE JOKES was at 0.17.  On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS INTL stayed at 0.28, HOUSE HUNTERS lost 0.04 to 0.24, and FLIP OR FLOP ticked down to 0.21.  On WE, BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES was steady at 0.27, and HUSTLE & SOUL ticked up to 0.16.  Food Network’s BEAT BOBBY FLAY fell 0.09 to 0.26.  On ID, MURDER CALLS climbed 0.06 to 0.26, and DIABOLICAL was down 0.06 to 0.21.  FX’s ATLANTA dropped 0.05 to 0.24.  Freeform’s SIREN dipped 0.03 to 0.23.  A&E’s MARCIA CLARK INVESTIGATES ticked down to 0.17.  TV Land’s NOBODIES gained 0.02 to 0.09.  POP’s IMPACT WRESTLING fell 0.02 to 0.07.
