NETWORK UPDATE:  EMPIRE, SURVIVOR, SVU and CHICAGO PD all gained 0.1 in final numbers, while BLACK-ISH lost the same. There was no change for the CW shows.

Broadcast Official Nationals Program Ratings Chart  

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The baseball National League WILD CARD GAME again showed strength after Tuesday’s American League performance, with 2.19 for ESPN’s telecast.  FX’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY continued its downward trend, down 0.26 from last week to 1.43.  Lifetime’s LITTLE WOMEN franchise featured ATLANTA up 0.03 to 0.56, and LOS ANGELES up 0.02 to 0.53.  TBS’s FULL FRONTAL has been thriving since its move to Wednesday, although it slipped 0.08 from last week to 0.50–still 0.21 higher than THE DAILY SHOW, which airs just half an hour later on Comedy Central. Food Network’s WORST COOKS IN AMERICA lost 0.03 to 0.43, and KIDS HALLOWEEN BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP was at 0.25.  OWN’s QUEEN SUGAR fell 0.05 to 0.40.  (It doesn’t belong on the chart since it’s not really an original despite HBO’s listing, but it’s worth noting that DEADPOOL was still scoring a substantial 0.40 despite airing multiple times on the service since last Saturday.)  On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS climbed 0.08 to 0.37, HOUSE HUNTERS INTL was up 0.03 to 0.34, and PROPERTY BROS was up 0.02 to 0.34.  Bravo’s DON’T BE TARDY dropped 0.04 to 0.31.  On E!, TOTAL BELLAS debuted at 0.30, with lead-out CATCHING KELCE at 0.13.  On Discovery, DUAL SURVIVAL fell 0.02 to 0.25, and STILL ALIVE was at 0.14.  Syfy’s GHOST HUNTERS ticked up to 0.24, and PARANORMAL WITNESS was up 0.03 to 0.21.  On TLC, TODDLERS & TIARAS edged up 0.02 to 0.24, with the PRE-SHOW down 0.03 to 0.17, and lead-out LITTLE MISS ATLANTA at 0.11.  TV Land’s YOUNGER rose 0.03 to 0.19, and IMPASTOR was up 0.03 to 0.11, but in both cases that was without last week’s Nick At Nite simulcast. MTV’s TRUE LIFE was at 0.17/0.14, and UNLOCKING THE TRUTH was down 0.04 to 0.09.  HBO’s ANY GIVEN WEDNESDAY had a healthy 0.09 jump to 0.15.  FXX”s YOU’RE THE WORST held at 0.09.  IFC’s DOCUMENTARY NOW added a tick for 0.06/138K.
