NETWORK FINALS:  OLYMPICS coverage gained 0.2 in final numbers.  Elsewhere, as expected there were plenty of adjustments due to local NFL preemptions.  On ABC, both BATTLEBOTS and $100,000 PYRAMID fell 0.2, and MATCH GAME was down 0.1.  On CBS, BIG BROTHER lost 0.1, and the reruns of THE BIG BANG THEORY, LIFE IN PIECES and CODE BLACK were respectively down 0.3/0.4/0.2. On FOX, both the reruns of ROSEWOOD and BONES dropped 0.3.  On CW, BEAUTY & THE BEAST was down 0.1, and the LEGENDS OF TOMORROW rerun dropped 0.2.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The Olympics had to bow to the NFL–even in preseason form–as NFL Network’s coverage of a New Orleans vs. New England game topped Thursday cable with 0.49, with a late Denver vs. Chicago game at 0.30.  NBC Sports Net’s primetime RIO SUMMER OLYMPICS coverage was at 0.46, with CNBC at 0.23, MSNBC at 0.07, and Bravo at 0.06.  History’s MOUNTAIN MEN dropped 0.09 to 0.37, and ICE ROAD TRUCKERS was down 0.05 to 0.24. Tru’s IMPRACTICAL JOKERS lost a big 0.15 to 0.35, and INSIDE JOKES was comparatively steady, down 0.02 to 0.31. Cartoon Network’s STEVEN UNIVERSE was correctly reported this time as an original, and was in the Top 10 at 0.34, while a late-afternoon episode of Nickelodeon’s ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS also hit the Top 10 at 0.27. USA’s QUEEN OF THE SOUTH fell 0.05 to 0.32.  We’s BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES was down 0.04 to 0.27, and CUTTING IT IN THE ATL edged down 0.02 to 0.17.  A special 60 DAYS IN on A&E was at 0.24.  On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS plunged 0.17 to 0.24, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTL was down 0.16 to 0.21.  MTV’s WILD N OUT fell 0.11 to 0.24, and JOKING OFF was down 0.05 to 0.17. Food Network’s BEAT BOBBY FLAY dropped a tenth to 0.19.  FX’s SEX&DRUGS&ROCK&ROLL ticked up to 0.16.  POP’s IMPACT WRESTLING was steady at 0.07.  BBCAmerica’s RIPPER STREET gained 0.01 to 0.02/101K.
