Bad news in Animation Domination land.
FOX: Thanks to baseball, FOX’s animated slate has been off the air for several weeks. Absence, it appears, didn’t make the viewers hearts fonder. On the first Sunday since October 9 that CBS had the late national football game and FOX aired its regular slate, THE CLEVELAND SHOW was down 0.3 from that night to 1.9, THE SIMPSONS was down 0.5 to 2.6, BOB’S BURGERS was also down half a ratings point to 1.8, FAMILY GUY was down a huge 0.9 to 2.5, and AMERICAN DAD was down 0.7 to 1.9.
ABC: The 8-9PM hours seem to have reached stability. ONCE UPON A TIME (with a hyped guest appearance by Lost‘s Jorge Garcia) was up slightly to 3.5, while REVENGE was down slightly to 2.6. 666 PARK AVENUE, though, took another hit to a new low 1.4.
CBS: As usual, the giant (and Giants) football overrun for the late game boosted 60 MINUTES, up to a preliminary 3.8 (up 0.2 from the show’s last football-aided number). Football’s aftereffects usually wear off after that, and the rest of the schedule was stable, with THE AMAZING RACE even at 2.5, THE GOOD WIFE slightly down at 1.7, and THE MENTALIST slightly up at 1.9.
NBC: NFL SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, of course, won the night, and the combination of Dallas’ enduring appeal and the unbeaten Falcons pushed the game up a full ratings point from last week’s preliminary number for what’s currently a 7.3.
Tonight is a November sweeps Monday with new episodes of all shows, including the return (probably not a lengthy one) of THE MOB DOCTOR on FOX.
