CBS:  The network is reportedly close to a massive 2-year renewal for THE BIG BANG THEORY, the only remaining scripted broadcast series to regularly hit a 3+ demo rating.  But last night BIG BANG took a 0.3 hit to 2.7, its lowest rating in a decade.  It may well bounce back (and indeed could go up this afternoon in finals), but it’s another mark of how the broadcast universe is shrinking.  Meanwhile, THE GREAT INDOORS gained 0.1 to 1.6, while MOM (1.5) and LIFE IN PIECES (1.3) were steady.  TRAINNG DAY finished the night down 0.1 to 0.7.

ABC:  GREY’S ANATOMY shed 0.1 to 2.0, SCANDAL was up 0.1 to 1.7, and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER held at 1.3.

NBC:  The just-renewed SUPERSTORE remained at 1.1, and POWERLESS stayed at 0.8.  CHICAGO MED rose 0.1 to 1.2, and THE BLACKLIST was steady at 0.9.

CW:  SUPERNATURAL was up 0.1 to 0.7, but RIVERDALE fell 0.1 to 0.4.

FOX:  MASTERCHEF JR fell 0.2 to 1.1, and MY KITCHEN RULES was also down 0.2 to 0.7.

All the networks are new tonight.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
