Last week’s arrivals slipped.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

NBC:  THE VOICE dropped 0.4 from last week’s cycle premiere to 2.7, still enough to take the night, and TAKEN fell 0.3 to 1.3. 

ABC:  THE BACHELOR aired another 1-hour edition and was down 0.2 from last week to 2.2  The WOMEN TELL ALL after-show special followed at 1.8, down 0.4 from 2016.

FOX:  24: LEGACY dipped 0.1 to 0.9, and APB remained at 0.8.

CW:  SUPERGIRL held at 0.7, and a rerun PENN & TELLER: FOOL US special had the same 0.3 as last week’s new JANE THE VIRGIN.

CBS:  Only SUPERIOR DONUTS was new, and it had the same 1.2 as it did last week when surrounded by new episodes.  As was the case last week, the night was led by a rerun BIG BANG THEORY, this time at 1.5.

ABC debuts reality series PEOPLE ICONS tonight, and on cable, FX has the penultimate season premiere of THE AMERICANS.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
