NETWORK FINALS:  The game portion of CBS’s primetime NCAA TOURNAMENT coverage adjusted to 2.0, and ABC’s NBA game rose 0.1 to 0.5.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Saturday cable was all about the NCAA TOURNAMENT and animation.  Honors for the top-rated game went to TBS, with 1.14 for Iowa State vs. Purdue, and you can find more details about the March Madness ratings in this week’s Skedball post. On Adult Swim, the animated line-up performed as follows:  SAMURAI JACK down 0.08 to 0.68, the late-night DRAGON BALL Z up 0.06 to 0.48 (the primetime edition was up 0.01 to 0.29), JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURES up 0.09 to 0.41, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM up a tenth to 0.36, HUNTER X HUNTER up 0.08 to 0.34/660K, NARUTO at 0.34/656K, ONE PIECE at 0.30/587K, and GHOST IN THE SHELL at 0.28/559K (we didn’t have ratings for the latter 3 last week).  In the realm of more youthful animation, Nickelodeon’s 10AM SPONGEBOB dropped 0.13 to 0.49, and lead-out BUNSEN IS A BEAST was down 0.11 to 0.33.  A&E’s LIVE PD climbed a tenth to 0.41. Lifetime’s original film doubleheader featured DOUBLE MOMMY at 0.39 and MOMMY’S LITTLE BOY at 0.31, while Hallmark’s CAMPFIRE KISS was at 0.29.  HGTV’s HOUSE HUNTER RENOVATIONS rose 0.11 to 0.36.  ID’s MURDER COMES TO TORN was steady at 0.32.  On Food Network, PIONEER WOMAN slipped 0.02 to 0.32, KITCHEN AT FN was down 0.06 to 0.26, TRISHA’S SOUTHERN KITCHEN was at 0.26, and VALERIE’S HOME COOKING lost 0.09 to 0.19. TLC’s SAY YES TO THE DRESS edged up 0.03 to 0.22, and the UK hour was down 0.01 to 0.18.  The season finale of History’s DETROIT STEEL fell 0.03 to 0.22.  BBCAmerica’s PLANET EARTH II shed 0.02 to 0.19.  On OWN, LOVE THY NEIGHBOR was at 0.14, compared to last week’s 0.13/0.12.
