NBC continues to drop on Tuesday (as the number of Voice hours returns to a normal weekly level and the ratings of those remaining h0urs declining sharply). The 2.3 adult 18-49 rating from 8-11 pm last night for NBC compares to a 3.2 average for the first eight Tuesdays this fall. CBS held steady (its 2.5 last night compares to a 2.6 Tuesday average) and looks like it will win the night and beat NBC for the first time since October 2. FOX and ABC continue to collapse on this night. FOX posted a 1.5 last night, down from the 1.9 Tuesday average for the rest of the fall and way down from a first-place 3.5 Tuesday average last fall. ABC hit a season low 1.4 again last night, down from a 2.0 Tuesday average this fall.

NBC ‘s The Voice struggled to a 3.3 rating for last night’s results episode, confirming the loss of momentum seen Monday night. While Go On is relatively stable, New Normal and Parenthood continue to lose steam, hitting or tying season lows. The latter two are brittle shows that can ill-afford the disappearance of The Voice in January, February and much of March.
