NBC towered over the rest.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
NBC: AMERICA’S GOT TALENT lost just 0.1 from last week’s season premiere to a still-huge 2.6, which is notably up 0.3 from the parallel week last year, something that rarely happens these days. WORLD OF DANCE took a half-point hit from last week’s premiere, but at 1.9 it has nothing to worry about.
ABC: After DOWNWARD DOG held at 0.7, it was a night of reruns at 0.5-0.6.
CBS: 48 HOURS: NCIS stayed at 0.5 following a pair of 0.7/0.6 reruns.
CW: IZOMBIE is currently up 0.1 to 0.4, but after adjustment for a baseball preemption in NY, that’s likely to come down. It followed a rerun of THE FLASH currently at 0.3.
FOX: Reruns at 0.4-0.5.
Game 3 of the NBA FINALS will give tonight’s primetime to ABC. On cable, the CMT MUSIC AWARDS will simulcast on several Viacom networks.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
