Daylight Savings Time arrives.
ABC: The 8PM shows on CBS and FOX were both down with the arrival of Daylight Savings Time, so viewed in that light, ONCE UPON A TIME‘s 2.2, although matching a low and down a heavy 0.7 from the same night last year, doesn’t look quite as bad. REVENGE was up 0.2 to 2.0 (down 0.6 from Desperate Housewives in 2012), but RED WIDOW, which is only scheduled to run through April, may have trouble lasting even that long with a 1.2, down 0.3 from last week’s premiere and more than a ratings point below what the canceled GCB did last year.
CBS: THE AMAZING RACE was down 0.2 to 2.3, another show taking a hit (0.6) from last year. A rather odd episode of THE GOOD WIFE (with Wallace Shawn as a Columbo-like mob enforcer) was relatively steady, down 0.1 from last week and 0.2 from last year. THE MENTALIST, though, while up a tick from last week at 1.6, was half a ratings point below what the canceled CSI Miami managed last year.
NBC: CELEBRITY APPRENTICE stayed at 1.7, down 0.3 from last year. The positive spin on that number is that last year’s Apprentice fell 0.6 from its season premiere the week before. NBC started the night by repeating last week’s episode for a 0.8.
FOX: The network played around with its satellite shows a bit for the second week in a row. A 7:30PM AMERICAN DAD had a 1.6, the same as CLEVELAND SHOW had done in that slot last year. THE SIMPSONS, at 2.2, was down slightly from last year and even with last week. Cleveland Show, at 8:30PM, was even with last week and just 0.1 below BOB’S BURGERS in that slot last year. FAMILY GUY had a 2.6, up 0.2 from last week but down 0.2 from 2012. Bob’s Burgers ran at 9:30PM with a 1.8, up 0.1 from last week but down 0.4 from the American Dad that aired in 2012.
Tonight’s primetime event is the season finale of THE BACHELOR. CBS is in reruns, and FOX will see how THE FOLLOWING does when running after a repeat BONES. The most interesting number of the evening may be on TNT, where DALLAS will air its much-publicized funeral for J. R. Ewing.

The Sked: SUNDAY Ratings
Sunday preliminary broadcast ratings: 60 Minutes and the CBS 7:00-7:30 half hour specifically inflated by 10 minutes of the end of Masters coverage from 7:00-7:10 pm (mostly the monumentally awkward and amazingly tense ceremony in “Butler Cabin,” where the Green Jacket is awarded).

THE SKED’S SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12/2/12
ABC’s Fall Finale Sunday was a moderate success. ABC: ONCE UPON A TIME could only hold even at 3.1 for its last episode of 2012. REVENGE climbed 0.2 to 2.4, but that didn’t put it far above last week’s season low. For what it matters, 666 PARK AVENUE was also…

THE SKED’S SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11/18/12
Not a tuneful evening. ABC: The AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS collapsed to a 3.4, the highest non-football of the night and somewhat higher than what ABC has been doing on Sundays, but down 0.9 from last year’s telecast. FOX: Without the benefit of last Sunday’s NFL overtime lead-in, THE SIMPSONS and…
