THE SKED’S TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4/16/13

The Voice increases its dominance.

NBC:  THE VOICE inched up to match its Spring cycle Tuesday high of 4.5, and with CBS in reruns, it more than doubled its nearest competition.  However, that did absolutely nothing for READY FOR LOVE, which fell to 1.3, down 0.2 from its premiere and less than one-third of its lead-in’s number.

ABC:   Very little movement on the night, as SPLASH slipped 0.1 to a new series low 1.1, DANCING WITH THE STARS rose 0.1 to 2.1 (still below its season average), and BODY OF PROOF had its third consecutive 1.4.

CBS:  The network flipped the order of its NCIS reruns for the night, so NCIS LA had to face The Voice and had a 1.3 (compared to 1.6 for its last 9PM rerun), and mothership NCIS had a 2.1 (compared to 1.4 for its last 8PM rerun).  In any case, GOLDEN BOY held at the same 1.5 it had last week when it was preceded by new episodes.

FOX:  HELL’S KITCHEN held at 1.9, then sitcom reruns were at 1.2/1.0.

CW:  A 0.1 slip for HART OF DIXIE to 0.5, then a 0.2 rerun.

As the networks hoard their remaining new episodes for May sweeps (which start next Thursday), tonight is slow.  ABC has a 1-hour season finale for SUBURGATORY, but the only other new show in the line-up is HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS (FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE), while the rest of the night’s fresh programming is unscripted.
