SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11.29.2018

 

Due to Thanksgiving, unless otherwise noted comparisons are to 2 weeks ago.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  An underwhelming night for holiday specials, which began with reruns at 0.9/0.8, followed by a new WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY at 0.7.

NBC:  The night started with an hour of LEGO JURASSIC WORLD at 0.5/0.4.  With that awful lead-in, WILL & GRACE dropped 0.1 to a new low 0.6, and I FELL BAD was likewise down 0.1 to 0.4.  SVU dropped 0.1 to 0.7.

CBS:  An hour of sitcom reruns at 1.2/1.1 led into MOM, down 0.2 to 1.1, and MURPHY BROWN, steady with last week’s 0.8.  SWAT was down 0.1 to 0.7.

CW:  SUPERNATURAL (0.4) and LEGACIES (0.3) were steady.

FOX:  The preliminary 4.5 for THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was down a point from the early number for the Thanksgiving night game (on NBC), although up 1.1 from FOX’s game 2 weeks ago.

FOX has COLLEGE FOOTBALL in primetime tonight.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day. Broadcast primetime ratings for Thursday will be available Monday morning, the final delay associated with the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
