SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 10.31.2019

 

Halloween seemed to hurt some networks more than others.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  A rough night, as GREY’S ANATOMY (1.1) and A MILLION LITTLE THINGS (0.7) both dropped 0.2, and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER lost 0.1 to 0.4.

NBC:  SUPERSTORE dipped 0.1 to 0.7, but PERFECT HARMONY (0.5), THE GOOD PLACE (0.7) and WILL & GRACE (0.6) were all up 0.1.  SVU also gained 0.1 to 0.7.

CW:  A night of specials, with 13 SCARIEST MOVIES OF ALL TIME at 0.2, and MYSTERIES DECODED at 0.1.

FOX:  The preliminary 2.8 for THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was steady with last week’s early number.

CBS:  The network took the night off with reruns at 0.4-0.7.

All the broadcasters air their regular line-ups tonight.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
