BROADCAST FINALS

ABC:  AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS rose 0.16 to 0.65.  The season premiere of AMERICAN IDOL was at 0.93, down 0.24 from the 2021 premiere.  THE ROOKIE aired for the first time since January 30 and rose 0.11 to 0.44.

CBS:  60 MINUTES gained 0.16 to 0.68.  The line-up aired for the first time since January 9, with THE EQUALIZER down a tenth to 0.58, NCIS: LA up 0.07 to 0.49, and SWAT up 0.03 to 0.45.

NBC:  Reruns at 0.34/0.19/0.15.

FOX:  After a post-NASCAR rerun at 0.26, the full line-up without a big NFL lead-in hadn’t run since November 14.  Compared to that night, THE SIMPSONS fell a tenth to 0.39, GREAT NORTH shed 0.04 to 0.28, BOB’S BURGERS ticked down to 0.40, and FAMILY GUY was up 0.06 to 0.42.

CW:  After a rerun of the ALL AMERICAN; HOMECOMING pilot at 0.04, MARCH was at 0.03.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  It was season finale night on HBO, and EUPHORIA was at 0.24, up a remarkable full tenth from last week, and even up 0.03 from the 2019 Season 1 finale.  THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES was at 0.13, up 0.04 from last week and down 0.09 from the 2019 Season 1 finale.  SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE was at 0.02, steady with last week.  The night ended with LAST WEEK TONIGHT down 0.04 to 0.08.  Meanwhile, the final season of KILLING EVE premiered at 0.06 on BBCAmerica, compared to last season’s dual premiere at 0.14/0.12 on AMC/BBCA.  The SAG AWARDS were at 0.23 on TNT and 0.17 on TBS, compared to last year’s 0.11/0.11 (for a virtual ceremony).  On Showtime, after BILLIONS dropped 0.02 to 0.03, SUPER PUMPED premiered at 0.01/120K. 

AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD fell 0.12 from last week’s midseason premiere to 0.41, with TALKING DEAD down 0.03 to 0.18.  Starz’s POWER BOOK IV: FORCE edged up 0.02 to 0.11. 

ESPN’s NBA doubleheader was at 0.59/0.50.  On TLC, 90 DAY FIANCE rose a tenth to 0.58, and UNEXPECTED was at 0.21.  The Ukraine-driven cable news was led by the 5PM CNN NEWSROOM at 0.41/0.57/2.3M, with Fox News’s BIG SUNDAY SHOW at 0.35/0.49/2.7M, and MSNBC’s AMERICAN VOICES at 0.07/700K.  On Food Network, TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS was at 0.27, and ALEX VS AMERICA was at 0.17.  HGTV’s HOME TOWN was at 0.27.  Discovery’s NAKED & AFRAID was at 0.27/0.25.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF SALT LAKE CITY gained 0.02 to 0.24.  History’s FOOD THAT BUILT AMERICA was at 0.15/0.12, and ADAM EATS THE 80S was at 0.14/0.10.  On ID, ON THE CASE edged up 0.02 to 0.15, and EVIL LIVES HERE was down 0.04 to 0.14.
