The Voice continued to shine as a lead-in.
NBC: Summer Mondays will belong to NBC as long as THE VOICE is holding down the night, with a 3.2 last night (subject to adjustment later today) that’s currently down 0.1 from last week, tying a Monday low. The “preview” of THE WINNER IS… benefited from the lead-in, which it will have again next Monday before moving to Thursdays. Per Mitch Metcalf, Winner had a 1.9 rating from 10-11 pm. By half hour, the final part of The Voice scored a 3.5 adult 18-49 rating from 9:30-10:00, which was followed by a 2.1 rating in the 10:00-10:30 half hour (which included a 1-2 minute runover from The Voice) and a 1.7 rating from 10:30-11:00, making the true rating for The Winner Is… closer to 1.8 or 1.7 going forward.
ABC: THE BACHELORETTE can’t get any traction against The Voice, and tied its series low 1.7 again. Facing unscripted competition instead of Revolution, though, MISTRESSES climbed 0.2 for a not-bad (for summer) 1.4.
FOX: THE GOODWIN GAMES and the network’s short run of FX’s ANGER MANAGEMENT continued to perform on par with the rerun sitcoms surrounding them. Technically Goodwin was down a tick from last week to 0.6, while Anger held at 0.7.
CBS: Reruns, highlighted by 1.2s for 2 BROKE GIRLS and MIKE & MOLLY.
CW: 2 new hours of OH SIT were at 0.4, up 0.2 from last week’s reruns.
All the networks (except CW) have some new programming tonight, with 8PM likely to be dominated by The Voice before the NBA FINALS GAME 3 gets started at 9PM. In addition, ABCFamily debuts its newest drama TWISTED with the Season 4 premiere of its hit PRETTY LITTLE LIARS.
