Some viewers spent the night at Camp… but see below.
NBC: Per Mitch Metcalf: on the surface, a fairly good debut for Camp at 10PM last night (a time period-winning 1.5 rating with adults 18-49). However, please note that NBC peaked with a 2.9 rating at 9:30 for the second half of the AMERICA’S GOT TALENT Wednesday edition premiere (up 0.1 from Tuesday), before Camp fell to a 1.8 from 10:00-10:30 and really stumbled to a 1.3 from 10:30-11:00, suggesting that people tried the show out and didn’t like what they found. In the coming weeks, Camp should be more like a 1.2 or 1.3 rating each episode. (That would still be higher than NBC’s other summer originals Crossing Lines and Siberia, and about even with ABC’s Rookie Blue, although nowhere near Under the Dome.)
CBS: BIG BROTHER was up a solid 0.3 from last week to 2.0, and then the finale of AMERICAN BAKING COMPETITION was even at 1.1, slightly ahead of the CRIMINAL MINDS rerun that followed.
FOX: MASTERCHEF was down from last week, with 2.1/2.2 in its 2 hours compared to 2.2/2.5.
ABC: An ugly night, as FAMILY TOOLS exited by tying its low 0.6, and THE LOOKOUT set a new low 0.7 (down 0.1). The night’s highest rating was 0.9 for a MODERN FAMILY rerun.
CW: Reruns at 0.3/0.3.
NBC adds HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT to its Thursday line-up at 10PM tonight, while FOX and CBS each offer one original hour, and ABC is all-new.
