This was the first Wednesday in a while not to feature special circumstances (World Series games, the CMAs), and things returned pretty much to normal.
ABC: All the network’s shows were within 0.1 of their last regular airings. THE MIDDLE rose 0.1 to 2.3, BACK IN THE GAME was similarly up to 1.8, MODERN FAMILY lost 0.1 to 3.8, SUPER FUN NIGHT was steady at 2.1 (although up 0.4 from its last airing behind a Modern Family rerun) and NASHVILLE added 0.1 to 1.5.
CBS: SURVIVOR slipped 0.1 to 2.4, while CRIMINAL MINDS, which took a big hit from the CMAs last week, was up 0.4 to 2.7 (but even from where it had been before that), and CSI edged up 0.1 to 1.9.
FOX: THE X FACTOR improved marginally, up 0.2 from last week’s low to 1.7.
NBC: REVOLUTION remained at its series low 1.4, SVU was up 0.1 to 1.6, and DATELINE stayed at 1.1.
CW: Although ARROW rose 0.1 to 1.1, the newly-back ordered THE TOMORROW PEOPLE remained mired at 0.6.
On the third Thursday of November sweeps tonight, all the networks have fresh episodes of their regular programming. Tonight’s NFL game will be carried by the local NBC affiliate in Indianapolis and the FOX station in Nashville, which may skew the preliminary numbers for those networks tomorrow morning.
