UPDATE: Lots of adjustments, but none of them over 0.1, with AMERICAN IDOL, THE BIG BANG THEORY, GREY’S ANATOMY, SHARK TANK and COMMUNITY up (narrowly avoiding series lows in some cases), and THE MILLERS and ELEMENTARY down.
THURSDAY CABLE: VIKINGS and PAWN STARS led the way for History once again, at 1.0 and 0.8/1.0 (the first half-hour of PAWN STARS was down 0.1). On USA, the SUITS season finale fell 0.1 to 0.7, and SIRENS tumbled 0.2 to 0.3, a serious step down.
ABC found an 8PM show that worked.
ABC: The 1.6 for SHARK TANK was below the ratings it does on Fridays, but far better than what the network has been doing at Thursday 8PM for quite a while. GREY’S ANATOMY was down 0.1 to 2.5, and then SCANDAL, with its next-to-last (and increasingly nutso) episode of the season, was up 0.2 to 3.0.
CBS: THE BIG BANG THEORY dropped 0.3 to a season low 4.6 (although it often comes up in adjusted numbers). THE MILLERS (which often comes down) fell 0.2 to 2.6. At 9PM, 2 1/2 MEN slipped 0.1 to 2.4, but then THE CRAZY ONES held at 1.7. ELEMENTARY were also at 1.7, but that was up 0.2 from last week.
NBC: COMMUNITY isn’t exactly peaking at its season’s end (the season finale is next week), hitting a new series low for the 2d week in a row by falling 0.1 to 0.8. PARKS & RECREATION tied its series low with a 0.1 drop to 1.0. After 0.9 for a rerun HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT, PARENTHOOD tied its series low 1.1 (down 0.1).
FOX: HELL’S KITCHEN plunged 0.4 to 1.4 to start the night, and then AMERICAN IDOL stayed at last week’s series low 1.7, and SURVIVING JACK was also stable at 1.2.
CW: Without a new VAMPIRE DIARIES as lead-in (a rerun was at 0.3), REIGN fell 0.2 to a new low 0.4.
Just about everything is new tonight, as the networks start to hit the home stretch of the season.
