NETWORK UPDATE: As it did last week, RECKLESS lost 0.1 in final numbers, down to a woeful 0.6. BIG BROTHER and WIPEOUT each gained 0.1.
SUNDAY CABLE: HBO’s TRUE BLOOD led the night with 1.7, up 0.1 from last week. Considering the offbeat nature of THE LEFTOVERS, it held fairly well in its 2d episode, down just 0.1 from the premiere at 0.7–another week or two at that level, as Showtime and FX introduce their summer premieres, and it would be a safe bet for renewal. On TNT, THE LAST SHIP slipped again, down 0.1 to 1.0, but still ahead of FALLING SKIES, which held at 0.8. On Lifetime, the season premiere of WITCHES OF EAST END was at 0.5, but did wonders for its DEVIOUS MAIDS lead-out, which jumped 0.3 to 0.7. On AMC, HALT AND CATCH FIRE had a relatively strong lead-in, a TALKING DEAD special that was at 1.0, but climbed only by an 0.01 sliver to 0.24. SALEM (WGN America) showed little viewer anticipation for next week’s season finale, down a tenth to 0.13. THE MUSKETEERS (BBCAmerica) was fighting for scraps at 0.05. On the reality side of the night, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA on Bravo (up 0.2 to 1.2) and KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS on E! (up 0.1 to 1.2) continued to be on top. NAKED AND AFRAID (Discovery) slipped 0.1 to 0.9, while MOUNTAIN MEN (History) and MARRIED TO MEDICINE (Bravo) were both at 0.8, which was down 0.1 for MOUNTAIN.
A stable but uninspiring night for the networks.
ABC: RISING STAR finally withstood an NBC challenge and stopped dropping, but a steady 1.2 is far from where the show hoped to be. WIPEOUT fell 0.2 to 1.0, just barely above the night’s opening rerun of AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS.
NBC: The Miley Cyrus audience isn’t watching network TV on a Sunday night, and her BANGERZ TOUR special had a woeful 0.7, just slightly above the AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR special that started the night.
CBS: BIG BROTHER remained at 1.8, the highest-rated show of the night by far. RECKLESS gained 0.1 to a still-lousy 0.7, while UNFORGETTABLE dropped 0.2 to 0.7.
FOX: After 0.5 for a BRAIN GAMES special, it was a night of reruns, led by FAMILY GUY at 1.2.
All the networks have their standard summer Mondays in place tonight. CW airs the long-overdue season finale of BEAUTY & THE BEAST.

UPDATED: THE SKED CABLE/NETWORK SUNDAY SCORECARD – 7/13/14
NETWORK UPDATE: RISING STAR and WIPEOUT swapped 0.1s, with RISING STAR on the low end–in fact, it was ABC’s lowest-rated original show of the night. On CBS, BIG BROTHER went up even higher to 2.2, but RECKLESS was pathetic, down another 0.1 to 0.5. SUNDAY CABLE: THE STRAIN, FX’s…
