NETWORK UPDATE: There was no change for the NBC sitcoms. BIG BROTHER, however, climbed 0.1 to an even higher 2.1. GANG RELATED slipped 0.1 to 0.7, and the CW reruns were both down 0.1.
THURSDAY CABLE: The cable night was all about Pawn and History Channel, as the 2 half-hours of PAWN STARS were at 0.9/1.0, and PAWNOGRAPHY was at 0.8/0.8. The two 15-minute segments of LOITER SQUAD (Adult Swim) were at 0.7/0.6, down 0.1 from last week. RIDICULOUSNESS (MTV) and HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO (TLC) were both at 0.7. On Syfy, DEFIANCE and DOMINION each rose slightly, to 0.50 and 0.44. When miniscule numbers are at hand, huge percentage changes are easy, but nevertheless, IFC’s MARON did double its 18-49 rating to 0.06, and COMEDY BANG BANG went from 0.01 to 0.25, and those certainly aren’t bad things.
Another pair of soft summer premieres.
NBC: WELCOME TO SWEDEN and WORKING THE ENGELS debuted at 0.9/0.7, not suggesting much viewer interest. Both were way down from the (misleadingly high) premiere of Undateable, but Engels was already as low as Undateable‘s later numbers, and Sweden wasn’t much better. It was a blah night for NBC from start to finish, with 0.1 drops for HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT (to 0.9) and LAST COMIC STANDING (to 1.0).
CBS: BIG BROTHER jumped 0.4 from last week to 2.0, the highest rated show of the night. The top rerun, naturally, was THE BIG BANG THEORY at 1.7.
ABC: None of the night’s numbers were big, but at least they were all up from last week: BLACK BOX by 0.1 to 0.7, ROOKIE BLUE by 0.1 to 0.9, and NY MED by 0.2 to 0.9.
FOX: HELL’S KITCHEN grew by 0.2 to 1.5, and GANG RELATED ticked up 0.1 to 0.8.
CW: Reruns at 0.3/0.3.
Another dead summer Friday tonight, with a fresh CROSSBONES and some newsmagazines.
