Like the movie box office, the summer TV season is ending with a whimper.
CBS: The network will have to hope that there’s more audience interest in its new shows than the 0.8 rating for its CBS FALL PREVIEW infomercial suggests. After that, the increasingly nutso UNDER THE DOME fell 0.2 to a new series low 1.2.
ABC: The season 2 finale of MISTRESSES was down 0.2 from last week (and down an ugly 0.6 from last season’s finale) to 0.8. Prior to that, BACHELOR IN PARADISE fell 0.1 to 1.2.
NBC: AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR rose 0.1 to 1.9, after RUNNING WILD fell 0.2 to 0.9.
FOX: MASTER CHEF dropped 0.1 to 1.9, and MOTEL HELL fell 0.2 to 1.4.
CW: Everything the network aired last night was at 0.4, including the new episode of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, steady with last week.
Tonight, ABC puts a STORY OF FROZEN special on at 8PM. ABC and NBC are the only networks with fresh programming tonight.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL
The chart above goes beyond the adult 18-49 rating, adding other key advertiser sales demographics (adult 18-34 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares), and total viewership (ages 2 or more expressed in thousands of people).
