Friday’s cable originals were led by TBS’s primetime coverage of the AMERICAN LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYOFFS at 1.12 (the afternoon game was at 0.55), and then Fox Sports 1’s NATIONAL LEAGUE PLAYOFFS at 1.10 (its afternoon game was also at 0.55), followed by WWE on Syfy at 0.79 (up 0.17 from last week). Z NATION, following WWE, also had a big lift, up 0.14 to 0.52. ESPN’s COLLEGE FOOTBALL game was at 0.57, almost double last Friday’s game. BERING SEA GOLD (Discovery) lost half a tenth to 0.37. On premium cable, REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER (HBO) gained 0.02 to 0.33, while THE KNICK (Cinemax) fell 0.03 to 0.09, with a steadier 349K total viewers.
