DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

The NFL Wild Card game on NBC at 8 pm ET (Baltimore at Pittsburgh) is currently a 7.5 adult 18-49 rating in the fast nationals.  After the western time zones are properly counted for this live telecast, the rating should rise to an 8.9 or 9.0 in the official nationals next week.  This would still be well below the 11.4 adult 18-49 rating for the comparable game last year on 1.4.2014 for New Orleans at Philadelphia, also on NBC in prime time.  (Note:  in previous years, NBC has been limited to airing Wild Card games, but because ESPN took one of those this year–at a reported cost of $100M for that single game–NBC also has a 2d round playoff game next Saturday afternoon.)

Ratings for the late afternoon game Saturday on ESPN (Arizona at Carolina) will be available Wednesday.
