SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Monday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 3.2.2015

NETWORK UPDATE:  THE VOICE gained 0.1 in final numbers, as did the BIG BANG THEORY rerun, while the ORIGINALS rerun lost 0.1.  With quarter-hour numbers available, the value of the VOICE lead-in to THE NIGHT SHIFT is even clearer, as over the course of the latter’s hour, it tumbled 1.9/1.3/1.1/1.1, although it kept its 1.4 average for the hour.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

Monday cable was led by its usual hits.  On VH1, LOVE & HIP-HOP lost 0.03 to 1.39 but was the #1 original of the night, with BLACK INK CREW up 0.08 to 1.09.  USA’s WWE coverage was at 1.33-1.10 over its 3 hours, down around two-tenths from last week despite a publicized guest appearance by Jon Stewart (whose audience may not overlap all that much with WWE’s).  BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC) had another decline, this time by 0.16, but it’s still very strong at 1.22.  Discovery’s STREET OUTLAWS was robust, up 0.21 to 1.18, and FAT N FURIOUS was steady at 0.57.  On Bravo, VANDERPUMP RULES rose 0.06 to 0.74, and SHAHS OF SUNSET was at 0.58.  SWAMP PEOPLE (History) edged up 0.02 to 0.68, and APPALACHIAN OUTLAWS increased by a tenth to 0.57.  AMERICAN DAD gained 0.02 to 0.61.  On ABCFamliy, THE FOSTERS was up 0.06 to 0.51, but CHASING LIFE lost 0.05 to 0.24 (in their more-targeted F12-34 demo, they were respectively at 1.21 and 0.68).  MTV’s EYE CANDY lost a tick to 0.28, however it plunged 0.26 in the target demo to 0.59.  STAR WARS REBELS (DXD) nearly doubled, up 0.09 to 0.20.  BRANSON FAMOUS (Tru) stayed at 0.09.
