SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Wednesday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 3.11.2015

NETWORK UPDATE:  EMPIRE found an extra 0.2 in final numbers, tying it with last week’s 5.8.  In addition, AMERICAN IDOL was up 0.1, while CSI: CYBER lost 0.1.  The reruns of AMERICAN CRIME and SVU both dropped 0.1.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

Discovery’s DUAL SURVIVAL led Wednesday cable, down 0.03 from last week to 0.66.  ESPN’s NBA doubleheader was at 0.65/0.52, within a few hundredths of last week’s games.  On MTV, CATFISH gained a tenth to 0.65.  MOB WIVES (VH1) fell 0.07 to 0.56, and the season (?) finale of HINDSIGHT showed a bit of life by rising 0.05 to 0.17.  On Comedy Central, WORKAHOLICS stayed at 0.54, while BROAD CITY (the stars of which had a featured interview on THE DAILY SHOW on Tuesday) gained 0.07 to 0.49.  LITTLE WOMEN LA (Lifetime) was down 0.08 to 0.49, and KOSHER SOUL dropped 0.09 to 0.10.  On ABCFamily, MELISSA AND JOEY remained at 0.38, and BABY DADDY lost a tick to 0.36.  THE AMERICANS (FX) took a heartening–and much needed–jump of 0.11 to 0.35.  DONNIE LOVES JENNY (A&E) slid 0.03 to 0.35, and DIRTY SEXY FUNNY was at 0.25.  LOVE THY NEIGHBOR (OWN) rose 0.11 to 0.33.  FXX’s IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA was up 0.03 to 0.32, and MAN SEEKING WOMAN (which just received a Season 2 renewal, showing once again that branding can be more important than ratings for certain shows and networks) had a 0.06 increase to 0.13.  BEST NEW RESTAURANT (Bravo) gained 0.08 to 0.19.  On BBCAmerica, BROADCHURCH (not on the chart) was at 0.07, with 387K total viewers.
