GREY’S ANATOMY still has some life.

ABC: There was limited interest in a run of the original GREY’S ANATOMY pilot at 1.1. However, the night’s new episode of GREY’S, moved to the 9PM slot to sub for SCANDAL (presumably because the network is running out of episodes of the latter), gained 0.3 from last week to the same 2.1 that SCANDAL had earned a week ago. AMERICAN CRIME, though, fell 0.2 to 0.9.
CBS: The network tried flipping MOM and the BIG BANG THEORY rerun in the 9PM hour, with no effect: each had the same 2.0 and 1.8 rating as last week. Earlier, the night’s new BIG BANG stayed at 3.4, but THE ODD COUPLE managed a 0.2 increase (at least in preliminary numbers) to 2.1. ELEMENTARY finished the night steady at 1.2.
NBC: 2 hours of reruns had SVU at 1.0 and THE BLACKLIST at 0.8, then a 10PM DATELINE lost 0.1 from last week’s 8PM episode to 1.2.
FOX: BONES dropped 0.1 to a series low 1.0, and BACKSTROM held at 0.8. The question FOX is going to have to face very soon is whether the ratings BONES is generating justifies its high costs as a show with a veteran cast and writing/producing staff, especially with both of its stars due for contract renegotiations.
CW: Reruns of THE FLASH, both at 0.3.
ABC, CBS and NBC are new tonight. On cable, Syfy features the season finales of 12 MONKEYS and HELIX.
