The chart below has been expanded to the Top 25 worldwide films of 2011 (out of 81 films released so far this year). The estimated final domestic box office for the 81 films is $6.3 billion, with $7.5 billion overseas to date and $13.8 billion worldwide. In the chart, the top 5 films average about $900 million worldwide each (think of this as the billion dollar club), the next five films (#6-10) average almost $500 million, and the next five films (#11-15) average a little more than $250 million worldwide each. This indicates the top-loaded nature of these rankings, with spots #35-81 all under $100 million worldwide.
