NETWORK UPDATE:  UNDER THE DOME picked up 0.1 in final numbers, as did FOOD FIGHTERS.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Shark Week again made its mark (read Mitch Metcalf’s in-depth analysis of Discovery’s Shark Week ratings here), with the 2-hour SHARK PLANET winning the night at 1.23, and the late-night SHARK AFTER DARK at 0.69.  MTV, though, also had a very strong evening, scoring 1.14 with TEEN MOM, and then 0.51 with its new lead-out ONE BAD CHOICE (in the targeted F12-34 demo, the shows were at 1.84/0.85).  History’s MOUNTAIN MEN took a 0.24 leap to 0.68, and ALONE was up 0.16 to 0.57.  On We, BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES was up a tremendous 0.27 to 0.64, and CUTTING IT IN THE ATL gained 0.17 to 0.46.  On Syfy, WWE rose 0.04 to 0.62, and the season premiere of DOMINION was at 0.26, which on the bright side was better than OLYMPUS had been doing.  LIP SYNC BATTLE returned to Spike at 0.60.  On USA, COMPLICATIONS had a solid 0.12 increase to 0.46, but GRACELAND only moved a tick to 0.33.  A&E’s BEYOND SCARED STRAIGHT fell 0.08 to 0.43, while AMERICAN TAKEDOWN gained 0.03 to 0.27.  TINY HOUSE HUNTERS (HGTV) was at 0.41, down 0.03 from Wednesday’s installment.  Food Network’s BEAT B FLAY dropped a tenth to 0.33.  RECTIFY (Sundance), already renewed for a 4th season, continued to prove that sometimes ratings are less important than branding, returning for Season 3 at 0.07 despite a great deal of promotion on sister network AMC.  That was, however, better than IFC’s below the chart pair of MARON (down 0.01 to 0.04 and down 53K total viewers to 70K) and THE SPOILS BEFORE DYING (0.02/56K in its first half-hour, 0.01/28K in the 2d).   BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK (POP) was at 0.05/127K.
