NETWORK UPDATE:  The only adjustment from morning numbers was a 0.1 bump for ROSEWOOD (which as usual for that show was carried entirely by its last pre-EMPIRE 15 minutes, with quarter-hour ratings of 1.3/1.4/1.5/2.0.)

Top 40 Original Cable Telecasts with Demographic Detail

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  TBS can only dream about the numbers it might have earned with a full 7-game Mets/Cubs MLB PLAYOFFS series.  As it is, the Mets swept in 4, and the network’s last game of the season was at 2.37, outrating everything on the broadcast networks except EMPIRE.  (Fox Sports 1’s Royals/Blue Jays series continued at its more sedate pace, scoring 0.58.)  AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL (FX) took another tumble, down 0.48 to 1.67.  Last season, the third episode of AHS dipped just 0.05 after its Week 2 plunge, so this is a bit alarming.  On Comedy Central, SOUTH PARK dropped a tenth to 0.76, and MOONBEAM CITY fell 0.13 to 0.21.  On Food Network, WORST COOKS rose 0.09 to 0.53, while MYSTERY DINERS lost 0.03 to 0.37.  History’s AMERICAN PICKERS climbed 0.06 to 0.52, and TIME MACHINE was at 0.43.  Discovery’s DUAL SURVIVAL gained 0.04 to 0.47.  LITTLE WOMEN LA (Lifetime) upticked to 0.43.  Bravo’s MILLION DOLLAR LISTING rose 0.08 to 0.39.  MTV’s ARE YOU THE ONE, airing without a TEEN MOMS lead-in, dropped 0.09 to 0.34.  GHOST HUNTERS (Syfy) was at 0.28, and PARANORMAL WITNESS dropped 0.08 to 0.17.  VH1’s COUPLES THERAPY gained 0.07 to 0.27.  On FXX, THE LEAGUE fell 0.07 to 0.21, but YOU’RE THE WORST gained 0.03 to 0.11.  BET’s THE WESTBROOKS shed 0.05 to 0.21.  On CNBC, JAY LENO’S GARAGE fell 0.06 to 0.15.  On DAM, IMPACT WRESTLING held at 0.06, slightly up in total viewers at 264K at 9PM, and added 0.02/63K at midnight, while RING OF HONOR dropped 0.02 to 0.03 with 132K viewers.
