NBC:  Since the game didn’t start till 8:30PM, SUPERSTORE didn’t have to compete with it directly, and although it fell 0.3 from last week to 1.5, that’s still not bad.  TELENOVELA was also down 0.3, but at 1.0 it’s showing less promise.  THE BIGGEST LOSER shed 0.1 to 1.1.

ABC:  THE BACHELOR fell 0.3 from last week to 1.9, while the AFTERSHOW held at 1.0.

CBS:  Reruns, led by a pair of BIG BANG THEORY episodes at 1.9.

FOX:  Reruns of MASTERCHEF JR at 0.9/0.8.

CW:  More reruns, all 0.4s for WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY and PENN & TELLER: FOOL US.

It’s another odd night for the networks, this time thanks to the STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS, which will fill the 9-11PM hours on all the networks except  CW.  FOX and NBC will air new programming at 8PM, and CW takes the opportunity to air a new IZOMBIE.  Meanwhile, on cable, say goodbye to ABCFamily and hello to Freeform.  The new branding isn’t initially reflected in is line-up, which features the season premiere of PRETTY LITTLE LIARS and the series premiere of the supernatural YA thriller SHADOWHUNTERS.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
