NETWORK UPDATE:  THE BACHELOR gained 0.1 in final numbers, as did the SCORPION rerun.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  To no one’s surprise, the COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME won the night for ESPN with 8.26, and the network had the night’s Top 5 slots.  However, that was well below last year’s 11.0 for the game.  (ESPN also aired the game on many of its other outlets, and we don’t have listings for most of them–although based on the two we do have, it seems like the vast bulk watched on the mother network.  Here’s the rundown for the networks we have:  ESPN2: 0.07, ESPNU: 0.06.)  On VH1, LOVE & HIP-HOP slid 0.13 to 1.43, but the INSTANT REPLAY special it aired afterward was only at 0.46.  USA’s WWE telecast was at 1.22/1.17/1.15, compared to last week’s 1.26/1.21/1.19.  MTV’s TEEN MOM rose a tenth to 0.99 at 10PM, with an additional lead-out special at 0.62.  Discovery’s FAST N LOUD was hit particularly hard by football, down 0.42 to 0.74, and DIESEL BROTHERS was similarly down 0.30 to 0.58.  Bravo’s VANDERPUMP RULES ticked down to 0.66, while UNTYING THE KNOT was up 0.02 to 0.22.  On Food Network, KIDS BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP slipped 0.04 to 0.44, CAKE WARS was at 0.41, and GUILTY PLEASURES fell 0.07 to 0.24, with TOP 5 RESTAURANTS at 0.19.
