NETWORK UPDATE:  MY DIET IS BETTER THAN YOURS is certainly effective at losing weight, down 0.1 in final numbers to a skeletal 0.6.  THE BLACKLIST, however, gained 0.1.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The primetime part of TNT’s NBA doubleheader led Thursday cable with 0.84 for the Clippers vs. Cleveland game, followed by 0.60 for late-night San Antonio vs. Phoenix.  USA’s WWE coverage was right behind at 0.82, and then COLONY fell 0.05 from last week’s series premiere to 0.39, still a fair number these days.  Spike’s LIP SYNC BATTLE took another big fall, down 0.37 to 0.67 after last week’s 0.33 drop.  On A&E, THE FIRST 48 gained 0.05 to 0.59, and NIGHTWATCH ticked down to 0.53.  HGTV’s FLIP OR FLOP rose 0.06 to 0.54.  On Bravo, TOP CHEF took a 0.16 leap to 0.50, but that didn’t carry over to its lead-out, the premiere of RECIPE FOR DECEPTION, which lost two-thirds of the lead-in for a wan 0.16 start.  The premiere news was better for FX’s BASKETS, which started with 0.46, holding most of its 0.52 lead-in from a run of the movie HEAT.  On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS climbed 0.13 to 0.38, GREATEST PARTY STORY EVER doubled to 0.26, and BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW was up 0.06 to 0.19.  On Comedy Central, WORKAHOLICS edged down 0.02 to 0.38, and IDIOTSITTER was steady at 0.27.  On Lifetime, PROJECT RUNWAY JR gained 0.05 to 0.33, and CHILD GENIUS held at 0.20.  WE’s GROWING UP HIP HOP rose 0.06 to 0.33, and TAMAR & VINCE was up 0.03 to 0.29.  PORTLANDIA returned to IFC at 0.11, a robust number for that network.  BBCAmerica’s LONDON SPY miniseries premiered at 0.04/129K.
