NETWORK FINALS:  THE GRAMMY AWARDS adjusted to 7.7 in final numbers, down 0.6 from the final number for the 2015 ceremony.  In addition, CBS aired a RED-CARPET ARRIVALS special in the 7PM hour, unusual for a Monday, and it rated at 1.6.  Elsewhere, THE BIGGEST LOSER lost 0.1.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  USA’s WWE coverage led Monday cable at 1.26/1.22/1.16, compared to last week’s 1.41/1.37/1.32.  (VH1, usually the other Monday cable powerhouse, aired reruns this week, presumably to sidestep the Grammys.)  The season premiere of AMC’s BETTER CALL SAUL, at 1.06, was down 0.13 from last April’s season finale, and was followed by a TALKING SAUL post-show at 0.32.  On Discovery, FAST N LOUD fell two-tenths for its season finale to 0.89, and DIESEL BROTHERS ticked up to 0.79.  MTV’s TEEN MOM dropped a big 0.24 to 0.85, although TRUE LIFE climbed 0.08 to 0.39.  An 11:30AM Disney Channel SOFIA THE FIRST hit the Top 10 at 0.71, and Nickelodeon also cracked the Top 10 with 0.69 for a SPONGEBOB episode.  On Bravo, VANDERPUMP RULES was steady at 0.71.  TBS’s AMERICAN DAD edged up 0.02 to 0.56, while FULL FRONTAL was at 0.25, down 0.03 from its TBS rating last week, but far off the 0.45 Adult Swim simulcast, raising the question of whether Turner has this show on the right network.  History’s SWAMP PEOPLE was down 0.08 to 0.51, and  BILLION DOLLAR WRECK was at 0.32.  On Food Network, KIDS BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP dropped 0.07 to 0.45, and CAKE WARS fell 0.08 to 0.31.  TNT’s MAJOR CRIMES returned at 0.43, down from the 2015 season finale of 0.55/0.50 for a 2-hour (last year the show didn’t take the same winter break and was done with its season on January 12).  On Freeform, THE FOSTERS held at 0.29, and RECOVERY ROAD lost a tick to 0.17.  Syfy’s THE MAGICIANS was down a hundredth to 0.27, while BITTEN returned at 0.14 and LOST GIRL gained a tick to 0.13.
