Unscripted veterans won Monday’s rating roses.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
ABC: The season finale of THE BACHELOR climbed 0.6 from last week to a season-high 2.8, and the AFTER THE FINAL ROSE post-show was just slightly lower at 2.7. Both maintained last year’s numbers.
NBC: THE VOICE slipped 0.2 to 3.0, and BLINDSPOT, with much stronger than usual 10PM competition, held at 1.7.
CBS: SUPERGIRL fell 0.1 to a new low 1.3 from its last new airing 2 weeks ago. SCORPION was steady at 1.5. NCIS: LA, on the other hand, managed to gain 0.1 to 1.3.
FOX: GOTHAM dropped 0.2 to 1.3, and LUCIFER was off by 0.1 to 1.2.
CW: Reruns at twin 0.2s.
Plenty of comings and goings tonight. NBC, following its recent pattern, previews new sitcom CROWDED with 2 episodes after THE VOICE. On cable, AWKWARD and FAKING IT return to MTV, while TNT’S RIZZOLI & ISLES and Freeform’s PRETTY LITTLE LIARS have finales.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
