Super 8 misses the Top 20 Worldwide Gross list, while Hangover Part II, Kung Fu Panda 2 and X-Men: First Class continue to move up the rankings.
Super 8 joins the Worldwide Gross list just outside the Top 20 (tied for 21st place with $111 million worldwide — an estimated $104 million domestic total and a low $7 million gross to date overseas as it starts a slow global rollout).  X-Men: First Class passed Rango and moved into the #7 spot, while Hangover Part II passed Thor and moved into fourth place.  Kung Fu Panda 2 is closing in on Thor and should be in fifth place next week.  Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has grossed almost $700 million overseas alone and has topped $900 million worldwide.  It probably won’t come much closer to $1 billion worldwide — that’s a benchmark that the final Harry Potter will probably reach, however.
