>The Smurfs continue to print money overseas — now only $26 million from passing Cars 2 in worldwide box office revenue.  Dolphin Tale (#54) and Moneyball (#56) are currently not on the chart and have no overseas money to date.  Dolphin Tale will certainly be more exportable than Moneyball — the baseball theme will just be too big a barrier in most foreign markets.  Lion King in 3D sits at #33, with $19 million overseas to date and a projected final domestic gross of $118 million.  The other recent movies, none of which appear on the top 30 chart below, are grossing in the $5 million range overseas.  No significant winners or trends are apparent as the numbers are so small.
