>CBS had a good night with the NCAA basketball tournament, averaging a preliminary 2.2 rating with Adults 18-49 from 8-11 pm and beating the 1.5 rating from last year’s comparable night.  Credit goes to a thrilling upset by 15th-seed Lehigh over 2nd-seed Duke in the Southern region.  CBS’s coverage of the climax of that game peaked at a 2.7 from 9:00-9:30 and a very un-Friday-like 3.1 from 9:30-10:00 pm.

ABC was second with a 1.5 rating from 8-11 pm, with Shark Tank (1.7, up from 1.4 last week when it faced Undercover Boss as usual), Primetime: What Would You Do? (1.5, up from 1.2 last week) and 20/20 (1.4, up from 1.3 last week).

FOX was third with a 1.1 rating with two episodes of Kitchen Nightmares scoring a 1.1 rating.

NBC crashed to a 0.8 rating for the night: Who Do You Think You Are? (0.7 for a repeat last night, down from a 1.0 for last week’s original episode), Grimm (also a 0.7 for a repeat, down from last week’s 1.5 for an original episode) and Dateline (1.0, down from 1.3 last week).

The CW averaged a 0.6 last night: Nikita (0.5 rating for an original episode, down from the 0.4 last week for a Vampire Diaries repeat) and Supernatural (0.7, down from a 0.3 for last week’s repeat).
