WHAT IT’S SAYING: Jack Bauer meets Hannibal Lecter. Only this time, Lecter has a cult of imitator serial killers.
WHAT IT’S REALLY SAYING: Not for the kiddies. It may look more like a movie than a continuing series, but it certainly gets its point across. Kevin Bacon does a fine Kiefer Sutherland, playing a weathered, retired, alcoholic, grimly determined FBI agent who has to come back for One Last Case. James Purefoy is menacing enough as the Big Bad, and Natalie Zea looks to be in Justified mode (a good thing). Against The Voice and Dancing With the Stars, this should liven things up considerably on Mondays.
