NBC slid to a 3.0 rating with Adults 18-49 from 8-11 pm, still #1 for the night but the night is eroding steadily.  Pending updates in the official nationals, Two and a Half Men will be the #1 show last night with a 3.7 rating, edging The Voice by one tenth of a rating point.

NBC’s The Voice averaged a 3.6 rating with Adults 18-49 last night, a new low for the Monday edition.  The show will probably go up to a 3.7 in the official nationals, which would be down a disturbing 40% from the 6.2 rating it posted as recently as March 5 and down 45% from the 6.7 rating on February 6 in its time period premiere, the night after the Super Bowl.  And facing a Hawaii Five-O repeat on CBS (and a Castle original on ABC), Smash is now below a 2 rating despite the presence of guest star Uma Thurman as a Broadway musical-mocking movie star called in to save the fictional show within a show.  NBC still won Monday night but its three-tenth of a rating point advantage over CBS was mostly a function of Hawaii Five-O being a repeat.  The erosion of its one dominant night is not welcome news for NBC, which is bracing for the official ratings out Thursday for last week’s morning news ratings.  Fast nationals for 7-9 am indicate that the Today show lost a full week to Good Morning America for the first time in 16 years.  Despite all the prime time woes, NBC always had dominance in the morning to point to (and the enormous profits that go with that daypart).  Now that advantage is slipping away.  Last year on this night: Chuck (1.3), The Event (1.1) and Law & Order LA (1.1).

CBS comedies from 8-9 pm had a rough outing last night, with How I Met Your Mother down half a rating point from last week and 2 Broke Girls on track to set a season low.  Order was restored at 9 pm with Two and a Half Men and Mike & Molly near last week’s levels and slightly above the season low rating.  Last year on this night:  How I Met Your Mother (2.5), Mad Love (2.0), Two and a Half Men repeat (2.1), Mike & Molly (2.6) and Hawaii Five-O (2.8).
