>CBS Monday was down week to week (from a 4.3 last week to a 4.0 last night) but still 10% ahead of the same night last year and #1 last night by a mile.   The other three networks were down from the same night last year, and remember that ABC’s 2.8 for the night will probably go down to a 2.7 or so because of major-market pre-emptions for NFL football.  Program details follow.

           NOVEMBER SWEEP LAST NIGHT
          2011 vs 2010 Day 26

                 2011    2010
          CBS     4.0     3.6     +10%
          ABC     2.8     3.4     -18%
          FOX     2.3     2.6     -12%
          NBC     1.2     1.6     -23%

           NOVEMBER SWEEP SCORECARD
          2011 vs 2010 Through Day 26 of 28

                 2011    2010
          FOX     3.1     2.7     +17%
          CBS     2.9     2.7     + 7%
          ABC     2.5     2.6     – 2%
          NBC     2.4     2.5     – 3%

CBS Monday was down four tenths of a rating point from last week (from a 4.3 from 8-11 pm last week to a 4.0 last night), with some shows at Halloween night levels.  Still, CBS won the night handily and turned in a performance 10% above the same night last November.

CBS Mon    9.19 9.26 10.3 1010 1017 1024 1031 11.7 1114 1121

Hawaii 5-O 3.4  3.3  3.2  2.7  3.1  3.1  3.0  3.1  3.3  2.8*

ABC’s Dancing with the Stars is looking good in the preliminary fast nationals at a 3.6, but that will probably go down to a 3.5 at least because of pre-emptions in Boston and Kansas City for Monday Night Football.  The game show You Deserve It premiered to a dreadful 2.1 rating at 9 pm (probably a 1.9 or 2.0 in the official nationals).  Castle will probably be a 2.5 in the official nationals, not bad considering the horrible lead in from the new game show.

ABC Mon    9.19 9.26 10.3 1010 1017 1024 1031 11.7 1114 1121

Castle     3.2  3.1  2.5  2.1  2.5  2.4  2.7  2.4  —  2.7*

Terra Nova took a big step backward to a 2.1, the season low last seen on Halloween.  It’s pretty much done as a show.  House also continues to bumble along at a 2.5.

FOX Mon    9.19 9.26 10.3 1010 1017 1024 1031 11.7 1114 1121
Terra Nova —  3.1  3.1  2.5  2.8  —  2.1  2.6  2.3  2.1*
House      —  —  3.9  2.7  3.1  —  2.5  2.8  2.5  2.5*

The Sing-Off ticked up one tenth from last week as the show races towards its conclusion.  Meanwhile, Rock Center set a series low, a 0.9 rating.  By half hour, the numbers are especially grim for the news magazine which will become the Wednesday at 9 pm program (leading into SVU):  at 9:30 the final segment of Sing-Off built to a 1.5, then at 10:00 the first half of Rock dropped to a 1.0, and by 10:30 Rock hit bottom at a 0.8 rating, directly leading into late local newscasts.

NBC Mon    9.19 9.26 10.3 1010 1017 1024 1031 11.7 1114 1121
