The Sked: SUNDAY RATINGS May 20

ABC won the final Sunday of the May Sweep with the Billboard Music Awards and very little competition from the other networks.  The FOX animated comedies ended their seasons at or near their respective lows, while NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice ended its season with a steep year-to-year decline and CBS programmed this final Sunday as it usually does (with a TV movie with little appeal for those under 65).

ABC won the final Sunday of the May Sweep, a very quiet night with most series already completing their seasons last week.  America’s Funniest Home Videos ended its season with a mediocre 1.5 rating, leading into the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, which averaged a 2.6 rating from 8-11 pm (down 13% from a 3.0 last year).  For the night, averaged a 2.3 rating from 7-11 pm, the only network above a 2 rating last night.  On the same night last year on ABC: AFHV (1.6) and Billboard Music Awards (3.0).
