>The return of Dancing to Tuesday brought ABC back above a 2 rating and into second place, but far below the lofty 3.4 rating the network scored on this night a year ago. Steady as always, CBS held on to first place for the night. Dancing‘s recap and results shows did damage NBC, which sunk below a 2 rating for the evening, as a Jillian Michaels-free Biggest Loser continues to get battered.

ABC got back in business on Tuesday nights with the Dancing with the Stars: The Story So Far recap show at 8 pm (1.9) and especially the 9 pm Dancing with the Stars Results (3.0). The live results show at doubled the recent ratings from The River and is in line for a time period victory in the hour. The robust lead in brought Body of Proof back to life (at least above a 2 rating). However, ABC’s second place finish last night is down a full 32% from the same night last year: Dancing with the Stars recap (2.8), Dancing with the Stars results (4.3) and Body of Proof (3.1).

After showing a little momentum last Tuesday, NBC fell back to its losing ways last night. The Biggest Loser tied a season low (1.9 preliminary rating) and Fashion Star at 10 pm set a new season low. Last year on this night: Biggest Loser (2.7) from 8-10 pm and Parenthood (1.9).
