Limited competition did TERRA NOVA a limited amount of good.
FOX:  The 2-hour season finale of TERRA NOVA, facing no original scripted competition on the night, will end up (depending on final rounding) matching or very slightly exceeding its series low of 2.1.  Not exactly the event the network had been hoping for.

NBC:  The curiosity of FEAR FACTOR‘s return wore off fast, and the show slumped to a 2.4.  However, given the state of NBC these days, that still puts it near the top of the network’s non-football programming.  The answer to WHO’S STILL STANDING? wasn’t NBC, as it debuted with a lousy 1.5.  Even with repeats on the other networks, ROCK CENTER couldn’t manage more than a 1.3.
CBS:  An all-repeat slate still won all but one half-hour of the evening (MIKE & MOLLY fell behind Fear Factor at 9:30PM).
ABC:  Holiday specials, a new episode of YOU DESERVE IT and a repeat CASTLE couldn’t get higher than a 1.4–and those numbers may come down, because the network’s Pittsburgh affiliate aired ESPN coverage of the Steelers game.
CW:  A pair of HART OF DIXIE repeats.
Tonight the broadcast networks head into serious holiday hibernation, as the only original content of the night is another episode of NBC’s Who’s Still Standing?
